Christi Kapp

Christi Kapp first attended the Magic Moments Youth Leadership and Business Summit in 2014 at the age of 16. At the time, she was adjusting to life at a new school, where she often felt torn between two worlds. Teachers admired her academic performance and love of sport, but among her peers, she struggled to feel seen or valued. This left Christi questioning her worth and searching for a place where she truly belonged.

Walking into Magic Moments for the first time, Christi had no real expectations. However, the experience was life-changing. She describes the moment she entered the main room as the first time she felt she was “among her people.” The Summit provided an environment of unconditional acceptance and empowerment, allowing Christi to realise that she had the power to create the life she wanted. She describes it as “the first day of the rest of my life.”

Since that pivotal moment, Christi has attended Magic Moments every year, except during the pandemic hiatus from 2020-2023. Each Summit serves as a time for growth, reflection, and self-improvement. It’s the one place where she feels safe to challenge herself without judgment, focusing on becoming the best version of herself. Magic Moments also became the foundation for lasting friendships—people she describes as her go-to support network for life’s highs and lows.

Now a dedicated leader within the Magic Moments community, Christi is passionate about supporting young participants to unlock their potential and embrace who they want to be. She describes the Summit as the place where she chose who she wanted to create. Christi’s story is a testament to the transformative power of Magic Moments, providing young people with the tools, confidence, and community to thrive as the leaders of tomorrow.
