Chirag Bebo

Chirag Babu is the co-founder of cascayd, an AI startup helping growth teams launch website experiments in seconds. cascayd was selected for Startmate's Summer '26 accelerator, one of Australia's most competitive startup programs.

Chirag's path into entrepreneurship started young. He and his co-founder Will first met in Year 7 maths class, not especially close at the time, but bonded over a shared love of solving problems and building things, something that stuck with them through school and university. Years later, that curiosity turned into a business. The idea for cascayd didn't come from a single lightbulb moment, but from a pattern they kept hitting while exploring different startup ideas: as AI tools made it easier than ever to build products, it became harder than ever to grow them and turn attention into revenue.

That insight became cascayd. The platform uses AI to continuously audit a website, find the highest-impact opportunities to improve it, and let teams test changes instantly without waiting on developers. Work that once took weeks now takes seconds.

Before cascayd, Chirag worked in product at Edrolo and operations at Edsemble, learning how real companies are built from the inside. Today he's building at the frontier of AI, in a space moving faster than almost any other.

His story is a reminder for any young person with an idea: the things you're curious about now, the problems you can't stop thinking about, the people you build things with, can become something real. For Chirag, it started in a Year 7 classroom.
